Spectacular Setting, Amazing Jazz
There are several ways to get to Texada Island.One can drive, which, depending on your starting point will involve at least one ferry ride, from Powell River to the Island. BC Ferries offers 10 return trips to the Island daily. We strongly recommend that, if you are driving you leave your vehicle in Powell River and walk aboard the ferry. There will be shuttles operating between the ferry terminal and the JazzMine site at Heischolt Lake to meet the 9:55 and 11:10 morning ferries and will be available for return trips at any time.There are 3 flights daily from Vancouver and Qualicum Beach to the Gillies Bay Airport. Or you can fly in aboard your own plane. A shuttle service from the airport to the venues will be available.There are transient moorage berths available at the Texada Boat Club in Sturt (Marble) Bay for a small fee. Shuttle service will be available from the marina to the JazzMine site.
